This common login system enables internal and external users a secure and convenient way of signing in to systems provided by DFES.

The credentials you use when logging in are there to protect the security of your information. If the computer you use is shared, please ensure you fully logged out.

DFES Staff

DFES staff are reminded to log out from your Windows desktop session completely, or lock the screen so that a new user will have to "switch user" and enter their own credentials for a separate desktop session to use for accessing systems with their own identity.

Users outside DFES's Corporate Network

It is important to sign out completely from any DFES system as subsequent users of the computer may inadvertently gain access to using your "remembered credentials".

For maximum security for all users

On completion of your session, Close all browser windows and fully quit the Web browser (usually from the "File" menu). If in doubt, especially when using a publicly accessible computer at an Internet Cafe or library, it's important to clear the Browser's history, cookies and cache. For Edge, Firefox and Chrome under Windows, you can use the "Ctrl+Shift+Del" key combination.
